Kiara: In a perfect world
One we've never known
We would never need to face the world alone
They can have the world
We'll create our own
I may not be brave or strong or smart
But somewhere in my secret heart
I know
Love will find a way
Anywhere I go
I'm home
If you are there beside me
Like dark turning into day
Somehow we'll come through
Now that I've found you
Love will find a way
Kovu: I was so afraid
Now I realize
Love is never wrong
And so it never dies
There's a perfect world
Shining in your eyes
Both: And if only they could feel it too
The happiness I feel with you
They'd know
Love will find a way
Anywhere we go
We're home
If we are there together
Like dark turning into day
Somehow we'll come through
Now that I've found you
Love will find a way
I know love will find a way

The British-The Japanese-The Indonesians-The Dutch-and The Germans: A History in a Sandwich
"It's a pity that the presidents and kings of this world aren't artists. If they were, there would be no wars. When the presidents, kings, emperors, dictators, and politicians are dead and buried they will not long be remembered, but the great artists of the world shall be, and their work will bring joy to future generations."The Japanese officer who "captured" K'tut Tantri(Revolt in Paradise)
The novel "Revolt in Paradise" was written by K'tut Tantri, a British-born American citizen, who had gone native Balinese in the year of 1920something. Her loving to the land of Indonesia especially the island of Bali had brought her to join underground movement to help the Indonesian achieve their independence. And later professed to be an Indonesian. Reading her novel makes me think of the correlation among the British-the Japanese-the Dutch-the Germans, and the Indonesians themselves. It's like having a history in a sandwich!. We the Indonesians, trapped in a sandwich surrounded by those countries.
And it is "nice" to learn the correlation among these countries in the world war 2. I don't like politics, but I appreciate history. I may make false understanding towards this era, but I like to read related references, and I think this novel is a great reference.
"Bangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang bisa menghargai sejarah" Ir.Soekarno
I will definitely spare a moment to review this novel soon I finish reading this. I haven't finished reading this autobiography, but I can recommend you already. Really highly recommended!
